Kathy Ashdown has been teaching acting, voice, piano, guitar and bass for the past 30 years. Her specialty is preparing students for professional touring auditions, jazz band auditions, Broadway auditions, and worship teams
. As a vocal coach, she has developed an outstanding curriculum to train teachers to teach and has helped many new teachers set up their own studios. Kathy teaches in person or remotely (via Facetime and Skype) and has students on both coasts, including all of the voice majors at Bayside College in Florida.
She is a Musical Theater Director
having directed over 50 Musicals in her career. She is a singer, songwriter and published author. Kathy conducts Vocal Master Classes
all over the U.S. and has a new book coming out entitled You Can Sing Anything! or How to Teach Styling to the Average Every Day Singer.
She is the founder and director of PJS Women's Conferences
where she uses Musical Theater, story-telling and original songs to bring her extraordinary journey to life, based on her inspiring autobiography and original album, The God of Second Chances.
Kathy lives near Los Angeles, CA in San Dimas.
